Self-Introduction: I’m Panchan, Navigating the Frontier of Web3
Hello. I’m Panchan, the site administrator of the NFT project Rahab Punkaholic Girls.
Through this blog post, I’d like to share my background, beliefs, and the motivation behind launching this project — and ultimately, why I hope you’ll join us on this journey.
A Web Engineer’s Journey: A Life Dedicated to Code
I’m in my 40s and work as a web systems engineer. My main programming languages are Java and Python, but my experience spans both front-end and back-end development, as well as system design and infrastructure.
What drives me is the passion to solve problems with technology. In recent years, I’ve developed a strong interest in Web3 technologies — especially blockchain and NFTs. The shift away from centralized systems represents a new era: new ways to create, to engage with value, and to connect with others. As a technologist and a creator, I was naturally drawn to this frontier.
As a Vocaloid Producer: Telling Stories Through Sound
Another facet of my identity is that of a Vocaloid music producer (Vocalo-P). Four years ago, I discovered DTM (desktop music production), and it quickly became a nightly obsession.
I’ve been active on Japan’s video-sharing platform Niconico Douga, where I’ve participated in various music events. Some of my tracks even ranked in the top tiers of these events. The feedback and support from listeners continue to inspire me deeply.
The music I compose is heavily influenced by the beliefs and worldview I’ll share later. To me, music is more than entertainment — it’s philosophy, prayer, and sometimes even a scream. That’s the essence behind my Vocaloid tracks.
Faith and Creation: A Catholic Perspective
I’m also a Catholic believer. I regularly study the Bible and Catechism, striving to deepen my faith. To me, faith is not a set of rules, but a continual process of asking questions.
These questions — about existence, meaning, morality — often shape my creative work. In fact, the name of this NFT project, “Rahab Punkaholic Girls”, is inspired by Rahab, a figure from the Bible.
Rahab, while occupying a lowly position in society, is chosen by God and fulfills a vital role. I see a parallel between her story and the potential of today’s independent digital creators — often overlooked, yet incredibly powerful.
The Realities of Investing: A Value Investor’s Lens
For over a decade, I’ve managed my assets through index funds, mutual funds, Japanese and U.S. equities, with a focus on long-term value investing. My approach is inspired by Warren Buffett, whose philosophy I deeply admire.
However, the current investment environment is extremely challenging for value investors. Stock markets in both Japan and the U.S. are overheated, and U.S. political instability — especially the potential return of a Trump administration — makes forecasting the market increasingly difficult.
That’s what led me to seek alternative asset classes — and ultimately brought me to Web3.
Crypto Volatility & Why I Created the “PGirls” Token
As with equities, I find the current cryptocurrency market extremely volatile. Even major coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum are unstable under today’s global conditions.
In response, I made a bold decision: to mint my own token, PGirls. This isn’t just an experiment — it’s a strategic hedge against the overvaluation of traditional currencies like the U.S. dollar and Japanese yen. I believe these fiat currencies may eventually face a significant correction.
The PGirls token is designed to support a long-term, value-based community economy that isn’t reliant on unstable monetary systems.
Why I Built “Rahab Punkaholic Girls” — A Fusion of All My Beliefs
This project is the convergence of everything I am: my technical expertise, musical creativity, spiritual worldview, and investment philosophy.
The NFTs we offer aren’t just “digital art.” They’re composed of sound, stories, prayers, philosophies, and future potential. Each one is a fragment of soul, not just a token.
If you resonate with this vision, I invite you to acquire a PGirls token, own an NFT, and join our community. Together, we can build something beyond conventional systems.
In Closing: Toward a Future of Genuine Connection
We now live in a time where individuals can connect directly, without the need for large corporations or centralized control.
“Rahab Punkaholic Girls” is more than just an NFT project. It’s a journey to find people you can truly believe in, and an experimental space for a new economy and new forms of expression.
As a Vocalo-P, engineer, and investor with deep convictions, I’ve launched this project in hope of creating something meaningful — together with you.
I truly look forward to meeting you in this new world.
